Accounts Receivable Representative
Working with our client, based in downtown Toronto, creating software that organizations can use to easily identify, track, and eliminate risks in the workplace, with the goal being, to create a safer and healthier future, we are hiring a Accounts Receivable Representative on a contract-to-perm basis, to complete day-to-day accounts receivable processes, ensure timely collections, and manage customer billing activities to maintain optimal cash flow.

Responsibilities:
Invoice Handling:
- Prepare and distribute invoices to clients promptly.
- Verify the accuracy of all invoice details and billing data.
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Review and track customer accounts to confirm timely payment submissions.
- Record payments and credits to maintain up-to-date account balances.
- Reconcile aging reports for accounts receivable and address outstanding balances.
Collections Activities:
- Engage with customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to resolve overdue payments.
- Work with clients to establish payment plans or negotiate settlements when required.
- Maintain detailed records of all collection-related communications and ensure follow-up on unresolved issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in general collections, with a strong understanding of invoice management
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics F&O is preferred, along with a strong proficiency in Excel, with at least intermediate-level skills. Experience with tax compliance software is an asset.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data and financial metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve discrepancies and collection issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, is an asset.
