442A Licensed Electrician – PT Weekends
Working with our client, a leading company specializing in the design and production of engineered polymer solutions for global clients across the Transportation, Mining, and Protective Linings sectors is looking to hire a part-time weekend 442A Licensed Electrician for its Maintenance Department.
Benefits of the role:
- $43.00 per hour
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6pm-6am
- Shift premiums: 3pm-11pm $1 / 11pm-7am $2
- $1000 tool allowance
- Vacation: 3 weeks

Responsibilities:
- Respond in a timely manner to machine breakdown to maximize equipment uptime
- Respond in a timely manner to emergency “call in” for facility and equipment repairs
- Maintain plant electrical cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects, lighting as required
- Complete prescribed corrective and preventative maintenance as assigned
- Maintain electrical supplies
- Assist with engineering and continuous improvement development of electrical standards
- Work with other contractors as required
- Keep work area orderly and clean
- Manage and estimate various projects and scope of work
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to teach, guide and lead the service team
- Ability to handle multiple contracts while under pressure
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Qualifications:
- 442A electrical license
- 5 years experience as an Electrician
- Electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting
- PLC programming
