  • You will have a minimum of 5 Experience in installation of Structured Cabling Systems. Previous Industry Manufacturers certifications/ training such as Commscope, Panduit, and Corning a MUST. Major Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Plan and install network installations by using work orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications provided from Project Managers.
  • Installing, terminating and labeling of UTP Coppe (CAT6/6A, shielded, direct burial) coax, low voltage access control cables, (Multi-pair UTP), fiber (SM/MM) both field term and fusion.
  • Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, cabinets, J-hooks) by using power or manual fasteners, drills or other power equipment.
  • Install or maintain existing fire stopping systems in conduits, trays, wall/ceiling/floor penetrations.
  • Document network by labeling cables and recording as built diagrams and specifications. This includes Fluke Testing of installations.
  • Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions or escalating to Project Management for resolution.
  • Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment, usually in a leadership role. Ensure a safe work environment.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and be able to demonstrate good writing skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable in codes, industry standards and best practices.
  • Must have Conduit installation experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and follow instructions properly.
  • Mentor and train Junior techs.
  • Be able to lift, carry and set up equipment as is typical for the industry.


  • You are expected to have all your own tools and a tool list is available on request (if using your own vehicle, a 6ft ladder is mandatory). You should also have current certifications for working on construction sites and at heights
