Working with our Client, a global and trusted leader in the design, manufacturing, and supply of high-performance sustainable building products and solutions for the construction industry, we are currently hiring a Electrician in Caledon, Ontario.

  • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
  • Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation
  • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
  • Modify and fabricate equipment, assist with installation of new equipment
  • General facility maintenance as required, including structure, lighting, doors, HVAC, etc.
  • Handle individual responsibilities & be a team player
  • Maintain equipment inventory to minimize downtime
  • Conduct, Uphold & Stimulate routine PM system
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and supports all Health and Safety initiatives
  • Maintain safe condition of maintenance area and any areas worked in
  • Sustain structured communication environment
  • Hands-On electrical repairs to a variety of equipment
  • Service an assortment of; voltages, PLC’s, VFD’s


  • High school diploma required
  • 5+ years' experience in the electrical trade
  • Licensed skilled trade certificate [442A]
  • Forklift/Scissor lift/Arial Work Platform license preferable Requirements:
  • *Prepared to work in a rotating shift pattern
  • *Prepared to work 11-hour shift
  • Be available for overtime as needed or required by management and flexibility in times taken for breaks / lunches to support production and maintenance activities
  • Experience in a continuous automated production environment is essential
  • Strong troubleshooting ability is a must
  • Basic Automation skillset
  • Must be a demonstrated decision-maker who uses a 'hands-on' approach
  • Proven ability to complete tasks within specified timeline.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows and e-mail
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience
  • Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
